Special Occasions

Come and celebrate a special occasion at Las Piedras. Honeymoons, birthdays, anniversaries….. Let us help to make your special day extra special. We can provide celebration cakes, flowers, chocolates, gifts, bottles of bubbly or whatever you like. Special touches so you can celebrate in style and make your holiday extra special.

Weddings

Las Piedras is a lovely place to get married. We have a small church right here in our hamlet and another lovely, picturesque little church in Alcaucín village where weddings can be performed (Catholic only – this is Spain after all!). We are the perfect venue for a small, informal, relaxed wedding in a picturesque setting followed by an outdoor reception on the beautiful pool terrace. We can arrange an English speaking priest, the catering, the flowers, cake, photographer, in short everything you need for your special day.

The couple and wedding party can be accommodated at Las Piedras and La Casita, and additional guests can be accommodated nearby.

Christmas and New Year at Las Piedras

Celebrate Christmas and New Year at Las Piedras. Come and be part of a warm, friendly traditional Christmas and join in with our family celebrations. Christmas in Spain is an altogether less commercial affair than in Britain, but we still celebrate at Las Piedras in traditional British style with a roast turkey and all the trimmings on Christmas Day! On Christmas Eve we put on a special spread and sing carols and Christmas songs all together. Excursions include a trip into Malaga city to admire the stunning lights and enjoy the festive atmosphere. New Year´s Eve is celebrated with a party and bonfire and the stroke of midnight is always marked in traditional spanish style with 12 lucky grapes! Finish New Year´s week with the climax of the Spanish festive holiday season – the fiesta of the 3 Kings. A jovial procession through the streets, the 3 wise men throwing sweets to the eager children lining the streets. Christmas and New Year weeks are usually booked up well in advance so please be sure to make early reservations. More info
