Getting There

By Air

Within an hour's drive, our principal airport is Malaga International Airport. It is one of the busiest airports in Spain and with 20 different local airports in the UK alone offering regular flights here; it is one of the easiest and cheapest airports in the world to fly to. The average flight time to Malaga from the UK is 2 and a half hours it is also well connected to other European and domestic destinations. Let us know your preferred departure airport and we will be pleased to advise you of your airline options.

We provide accessible airport transfers from Malaga airport to all our accommodations (included in our full board and twin centre holiday packages). There are many car hire companies based at Malaga Airport for those choosing a self-drive option. All of our clients can take advantage of a 15% discount in their car hire from local well-reputed car hire company Helle Hollis.

Other airport options are Granada within 2 hours drive, and Almeria within 3 hours drive.

By Sea

Brittany Ferries has a ferry service from Plymouth to Santander and P&O Ferries has a ferry service from Portsmouth to Bilbao. Both are overnight ferry services and both operators offer accessible cabins. The road journey from Bilbao and Santander in the North of Spain to the Axarquia in Southern Spain is approximately 10 hours, so an overnight en-route stop is necessary. We can help you with an accessible hotel in the Madrid area.
