El Pleamar

In 2008 we added El Pleamar Accessible Apartment to our portfolio of accessible holiday accommodations. It is a fantastic coastal apartment right on the beach & promenade at Torrox Costa.

You can choose to stay self catering at El Pleamar or team it with a stay at Las Piedras Guesthouse for a perfect Twin Centre Accessible Holiday.

The Apartment

El Pleamar is a ground floor 2 bed-roomed apartment (sleeps up to 6). All areas & rooms are wheelchair accessible. It has a light, airy feel, amazing seaviews & is air-conditioned. The whole apartment is one level without any steps or barriers and has metre-wide doors.

Interior

There are 2 double bedded rooms, a beautifully finished, fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave & dishwasher open plan to dining area and living room, which has a double sofa bed, Flat screen TV with UK channels, DVD & Stereo. The pleasant conservatory has a comfortable day-bed which can sleep an extra person. The spacious, designer Bathroom has a roll-in shower, wheeled showerchair & plenty of grab rails. There is a washer / dryer. A mobile hoist is available and other mobility aids can be hired (profiling bed, mobility scooters & powerchairs etc).

The Complex Facilities

The apartment is within the exclusive Laguna Beach Complex, which has beautiful, tropical gardens shops, hairdresser, internet café, bars, restaurant,swimming pools, tennis courts & gymnasium (gym at extra charge). Torrox Costa is a pleasant, up-market resort with a variety of shops, bar, restaurant, supermarkets and a popular weekly street market all easily wheeled to. There is a sea-going wheelchair available in summer. We can arrange accessible transfers and transport.
